artist statementCoal mining is contaminating our water supply with iron, manganese, arsenic, saline and other pollutants that require treatment to make it fit to drink.
Mining is draining about 3 billion litres a year from the water supply. By the time significant water losses or contamination are detected it will be too late to repair the damage. |
