c-a-c - fisher's ghost art award 2023 My entry in the Contemporary Category of the Fisher's Ghost Art Award 2023 An 'uncurated' life is featured on page 8 of the Education Kit that has been developed by the gallery from finalist entries to the 2023 Fisher's Ghost Art Award. An Artmaking Activity responding to the work can be found on page 10 of the Education Kit. The resource can be downloaded for free from the Campbelltown Arts Centre website.

a-tisket a-tasket film In 2022 Paper-On-Skin moved from Burnie to Devonport in Tasmania. After the success of the short films produced in 2020, the organisers of this biennial event have again produced short films showcasing each of the entrants work as part of their regular programme. The films are in addition to the Gala Fashion Parade. I feel honoured to again be a finalist and have this wonderful record of my work.
wax fusion magazine -
featured artist Wax Fusion is the quarterly digital publication of International Encaustic Artists (IEA) an organisation that supports the growth and advancement of wax artists and provides opportunities and resources within a global community. It is a US publication.
I was approached to write an article about my encaustic art practice for the Fall Issue of their digital magazine publication. The theme of the issue is "alchemy". I feel both proud and humbled to have my work featured in this leading encaustic publication, alongside such diverse and talented wax artists. friday feature artist Fibre Arts Take Two have since the start of the pandemic held interviews with a variety of artists and makers from all manner of art and textile disciplines around the world.
In 2022 I was invited to be a part of this incredible initiative. My interview with Tara Axford was held on Friday 3 June 2022 and can be viewed on YouTube. I feel really fortunate to be given this opportunity to showcase and discuss my work and have it exposed to a new audience. textiles can be fine art Museums and Galleries of NSW launched the 'Storyplace' website on 5 may 2022. It is a unique website that tells important stories inspired by objects, records and artworks cared for by museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres from regional New South Wales. This important digital collection is accessible to all and allows the cultural stories of Australians from all walks of life to be shared and to continue to be celebrated and explored into the future.
My work 'Essential Worker' has been included in the collection. I am extremely honoured to have my work featured in this significant digital collection. [not a] basket case - promotional film
A number of my ceramic and newspaper coiled vessels and banksia inspired sculptures were included in this juried exhibition of contemporary australian and international basket makers.
My jacaranda rachis and cotton woven wall hung sashing/bunting is also included in this exhibition. I feel really honoured to have my work featured in this amazing exhibition. paper on skin - 2020
pretend print-cess film Due to Covid19 travel restrictions, the organisers of this biennial event adapted their regular programme and produced short films of each of the entrant works. Each film had its own musical score and choreography in place of the usual fashion parade. I feel honoured to be a finalist and have this wonderful record of my work.
