Throughout my art practice I use printmaking in a variety of ways. Often incorporated as a collage element in encaustic mixed media works when printed on rice paper, but also as a fabric surface decoration technique. I use a variety of techniques depending upon the outcome I am hoping to achieve. Contemporary printmaking works incorporate stitching as a design element on both fabric and paper works.
I have recently participated in the Emerald international Printmaking Exchange.
I also frame my drypoint etchings and woodblock prints.
I also use my mono prints in the creation of artist books.
Recurrent subject matter includes: banksias, birds and flowers.
